Quality Fine Art Prints
The finished print represents the culmination of a photographic project. Everything I envisaged when I first engaged the subject, everything I felt and wanted to convey is presented to the viewer through the finished print. The final print is the most important phase of the project and is what is left behind to tell a story or communicate a message long after the project is complete.
The final print quality cannot be compromised. To that end we endeavour to use the best materials we can afford and take the time and loving care to produce a print that will last for generations.
We produce two types of print: a standard "Quality Print" and our "Limited Edition Fine Art Print". Both use the same printing technique, however the Limited Edition print uses higher quality materials, sometimes thicker paper, much higher resolution and more ink. The Limited Editions are also larger, normally close to 24" on the longest side. Each Limited Edition Fina Art print is individually number and signed. Editions typically run anywhere from 5 to 50 pieces. After that, the edition is closed and no more are made.
Our prints are produced on our own Giclee printer, individually. They are not mass produced. They are printed to order, unlike some mass produced prints. Each one undergoes a quality control procedure that checks for blemished, color correctness, material quality, anything that may affect the final enjoyment of the print.
Today, a Giclee print can be expected to last for several generations if we cared for.
