A deep passion for landscape photography and travel inspired Robin's early photographic beginnings. Robin try's to create an empathic relationship with his subject, for him, every image evokes an emotion, a connection between the subject he captures and the viewer. During the creation of the fine art prints, the processes he employs are intended to accentuate that feeling and connection.

Still a great supporter of traditional photography, Robin can still be found using film, his favorite format , with either a Horseman 4x5 large format camera a 6x6 Bronica. Of course, digital formats play a large part in Robin's photography too.
